    Personal skills and competencies
    Social skills Open and friendly to all, I've been between poor and loosers, between management, no discrimination, still too many men have too low opinions of women, but also with them I can relate on a fiendly level. And although 53, young people, and older are well accepted. Male, female.
    I react well to stress, to complexity, find all that challenging.
    Organisational skills I'm described as an informal leader, what means that people tend to listen to me, I tend to organize. Why? I'm very, very alert, analysis and ideas rush through my mind, possible solutions follow, and always, always have so much respect for each and everyone, that I take the technically best and human solution. These are no antipoles, they go together most of the time. It's not a skill, it's me.
    Technical skills Give me something, and a short time to learn, and i can do it. I learn while listening, doing, because I'm very critical to what I know, still have the astonishment over things that seem normal, plausible, seem causal. So I scrutinize what I do, read, learn every second. It's a way of looking at things.
    So my technical skills? Software, house building, plants, raising children (strange to you? you think it's evident? No, it's learning responsability, it's learning modesty), etc, etc. Electricity, planning, ...
    Computer skills As a former software developer (when developing was assember or a little higer), I still find computers rather simple things, not ergonomical, the internet rather poorly developed. Sorry!
    So Open Office, Xara, Photoshop, and still write websites in origanal code using a simple editor much like notepad, good for php, css, html.
    Artistic skills Nome, by that I mean, not developed, never had the urge. But the beauty in many living things, the beauty in design, the ugliness of many websites. Beauty touches me, but it's mostly the mathematical beauty. The elegance of a simple curve, of a leaf, a flower, a tree, etc. But also bridges, buidings (f.e. Horta = Art Nouveau), design, ...
    Other skills Skills are developed and afterwards neglected. new skills come all the time, old fade. Now it's strategical; how do do many things and keep the timing OK, the budget OK. Being poor stimulates creativity. Adapting to new environments.
    And I seem to be extreme in placing myself in the position of the other, it's easy and interesting. Also I like the KISS-principle, that's very useful.

    Don't think I exagerate ;
    - like to design gardens (4 in the last 2 years, it's not a static thing, it must be designed to evolve),
    - like to negociate with professionals (I'm verbal assertive, intelligent-creative, so even unprepared is possible
    - like to plan renovation 'passive house', always emphasis on the ergonomics, the comfort of living
    - like to start up new initiatiatves
    - like to learn, be thrown in a field I have to w ork to get aquainted with, so like stress, and pressure
    - dislike repetitive tasks, but accept that's a part of work/living, and it gives a rest to the mind, gives rise to new thoughts, new ideas.
    - like people, only the ones who boast and prove uncapable I dislike, but working with them, being friendly is guaranteed
     
    Additional Information
    About being 53. I agree that (alas) manier of my age tend to look old or at least less dynamic. I find it very strange, because I'm alive and kicking. Also, my mother is 83, het sister 85, her bother 80, all in good health and young spirits. So what's the problem? At my age, responsability, being dynamic and creative, daring and caution are combined.

    And no, I'm not into securing my job. If me being removed from the firm is beneficial to that firm, that's allright, I've always been that way.
    So not hampered by fright (fear), looking at meanings behind.
     
    Worries
    Buying as a customer or company becomes more and more difficult, because excellent logistics are becoming crucial.
    Sales, acquisition, planning, internal and external communication, databases, scheduling delivery are a problematic combination.
    Too many firms think it's simple, it's only about working together with a courier.
    Alas, many couriers, due to cost-effectiveness, demand a flexible customer (B2B and B2C), which is difficult.

    Also, the western world gets more and more divided, respecting the other gets more difficult, the emphasis on quality, effectiveness and knowledge diminishes.

    I'd be glad to work to make our society, companies more performant,
    to make countries, regions work together.
